While strength is an obvious component of arm balances, what is often overlooked is the flexibility required, both physically and mentally, to come into and sustain these postures with ease.
 

We will spend time breaking down the mechanics of advanced arm balances, with and without the use of props.

You will come away with a variety of teaching techniques and a better understanding of the alignment of these poses so they can be woven into future class sequences.

Poses covered include: Eka Pada Bakasana 1 & 2, Astavakrasana, Koundinyasana 1 & 2, Eka Pada Galavasana & others.

This workshop is suitable for Yoga Teachers and Advanced Practitioners.
