For thousands of years the art of yoga has focused on the spine, the central channel for energy.
All yoga poses were created to open this channel and keep it supported.
Yoga postures are designed to integrate and benefit the whole body, by lengthening connective tissue, expanding range of motion (ROM) and improving posture; which makes it the perfect tool for maintaining a healthy spine and an excellent therapy to reduce the symptoms of back pain.
Back pain is a whole body & life experience and so is yoga.
In this workshop, you will explore how a careful asana practice will help release tension while building strength, which will aid in diminishing pain as soon as it arises.
This workshop is appropriate for people with basic to advance yoga experience, in generally good condition, who are experiencing or want to prevent back pain, and who can make their way to and from the floor with little assistance.
This is also an ideal workshop for teachers wanting more insight on yoga for back pain.
